Life can be very challenging and I am professionally trained to work with adults and couples on such issues as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, loss, loneliness and thoughts or behaviours that worry you. I also have an interest in Emotional Regulation and have 5 years’ experience working therapeutically using Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) which is a highly effective approach for understanding and managing intense emotions. I have worked in a Women’s Centre counselling women who have experienced trauma, a community counselling service, and during Covid 19 I volunteered for Frontline 19 offering therapeutic support to NHS keyworkers.

I have an interest in learning and development and I regularly attend additional training events to update my own skills. I support student counsellors, regularly working alongside clients who are undertaking counselling training. I have worked with people from a variety of backgrounds, identities and beliefs and strive to offer an inclusive practice.
